
Built in 1892 for the English aristocracy and mainly for Queen Victoria, former Regina Hotel, now Excelsior Régina Palace is the name given to a luxury hotel in Nice between 1897 and 1935. It is located on the hill of Cimiez on its eponym boulevard, and was converted in the 1930s into a residential building.

Basilica of Our Lady : Notre-Dame Basilica in Nice is located on Avenue Jean-Médecin in the city center. It was built between 1864 and 1868 according to the plans of the French architect Louis Lenormand. This is the largest church in Nice. Neo-Gothic, it is inspired by the cathedral of Angers. The basilica has two square towers twenty-five meters high, surmounting on either side a large rose window representing scenes of the mystery of the Assumption.

Sundial next to the Rauba-Capeù wharf that connects the Promenade des Anglais to the Port Lympia of Nice. Stand up in the middle of the sundial, and your shadow will tell you the time.

Fort of Mont-Alban is a military fortification from the sixteenth century. Built between 1557 and 1560, and located on its eponym hill, at a strategic point (220 meters above sea level). It offers a magnificent panorama on the Baie des Anges (West) and on the bay of Villefranche/Mer (East).

Built on the famous Baie des Anges in 1912 by Niermans for the Romanian Henri Négresco, the Negresco palace. The building is from the Belle Epoque and is classified Historical Monument since 2003. Each of the 121 rooms and 24 suites have their own decoration. The styles of the most brilliant periods of French art are represented, from Louis XIII to modern art. Recently ranked 5 *, it is listed amongst the most beautiful hotels in the world.

The palace of the Mediterranean is a temple of arts and games built with an art deco architecture in 1927, and considered as one of the most magnificent casino in the world. Closed in 1978, it reopened in 2004, after three years of work and is classified Historical Monument. It is also one of the most beautiful hotels in Nice.

Memorial : Located next to the port of Nice, it was built in 1928 in the old quarries of the Colline du Château to respect the silence in honor of the 4,000 people from Nice who died during the first world war (1914- 1918).

Opéra de Nice : Come and push the doors of the Opera Nice Côte d'Azur, whether to visit the architectural heritage or to attend the lyric, choreographic or symphonic season.

Rauba-Capeù : At the foot of the Colline du Château, the Rauba-Capeù wharf offers one of the most beautiful views of the Mediterranean.

Cimiez monastery : Raoul Dufy, Roger Martin Gard and Henri Matisse rest in this place where monuments and buildings to the memory of the missing will surprise more than one visitor.

Cours Saleya : pedestrian area in the heart of the old Nice, it has become a picturesque and unmissable place for Niçois and tourists. In an ocher, rectilinear and baroque decor, the antique market on Mondays and the flower and vegetable market on other days are delightful for the eyes.

St Nicolas Russian Church of Nice : Listed as a Historic Monument, the cathedral is the most important building of its kind outside of Russia. Inspired by the style of the Moscow churches, the interior has a very rich decoration, adorned with multiple icons, frescoes, carved woodwork and iconostasis in repoussé and chiseled metal. Centennial monument : Built in 1893, the Centennial Monument commemorates the decree concerning the annexation of the County of Nice to France and the creation of the department of Alpes-Maritimes. Place Garibaldi : the first extension of the old Nice to the new town, Garibaldi Square now has buildings with elegant ocher facades with green shutters.

Designed by the sculptor Sacha Sosno, the "Square Head" is the key symbol of contemporary architecture in the city. 30 meters high and 14 meters wide, this monument-sculpture is not accessible to the public and hosts the offices of the Louis Nucéra public library.
