Le Provençal Golf Club
A 9 holes par 35 course of 2800 metres (3062 yards), designed by Jack Nicklaus and Michel Niedbala, is carved into the densely populated pine and cork tree area of Sophia Antipolis found northwest of Antibes and Southwest of Nice.
Sophia Antipolis is a technology park, very much part of the commune of Valbonne, that was developed between 1970 and 1984, with the aim of bringing the international business community together to bring added value to the generation of innovative ideas in industries such as: computing, electronics, pharmacology and biotechnology. This has resulted in numerous international companies setting up modern offices as European HQ's in these tranquil surroundings.
The course itself has rolling greens and narrow fairways and offers some stunning views of the Alps and surrounding countryside.
