Esterel Latitudes Golf Club

A par 71 woodland golf course of 5852 metres (6400 yards), designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr. 18 holes of undulating terrain and steep slopes.

Situated in the countryside just outside the Cap Esterel village, Golf de l'Estérel provides great views of the Bay d'Agay and the forest covered red stone hills of 'Le Massif de l'Esterel'. It is a shortish tight golf course, heavily lined with parasol pines, which requires accuracy from the tee, in many cases. Perhaps a 3-wood or iron may be advised in some cases. Hazards such as bunkers and water are in abundance around greens, which means precision or challenging approach shots, depending on ones handicap. There are a number of short par 4's on the course and the par 3's at 150 metres or less, are pretty short too.

However, it has to be noted, that Golf de l'Esterel has been classified in the top 150 most beautiful French golf course.
